Connecting Kids To The Real Love Of Jesus

At New Direction, we LOVE children and believe Jesus was right when He told the disciples the kingdom of Heaven belonged to such as these. Kids ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age come to encounter God in a safe, fun, and exciting environment. From singing songs, playing silly games, to hands on Bible lessons, your child is sure to have an awesome time while learning about God.

Check In

Your First Visit

Here’s what to expect when checking into New Direction Kids for the first time.


As you enter church, the Kids Check In center will be on your right. There our Kids Check In Volunteer will greet your family and walk you through checking your child in for the first time. Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for you to fill out a personal information sheet on your child. This information will help us place your child in the appropriate class and ensure any needs are met. After checking in, our Kids Greeter will direct you to your child’s classroom. When the service ends, you will return to your child’s class to pick them up.

Younger Age Groups

Engaging Environments For Little Kids
  • Nursery

    We seek to create a caring space where your baby feels the love of Jesus through our dedicated volunteers. Nursery is available to children ages 6 weeks-walking age. You can worship in peace knowing your baby is in a safe and age-appropriate environment.

  • Toddlers

    Toddlers who are walking and ready for more engagement participate in a Bible lesson, sing songs, and create crafts alongside our Kids Team Volunteers.

  • 2-3 Year Olds

    Our 2-3 year old class is designed with the curious and active toddler in mind! Volunteers lead the kids in songs, an engaging Bible lesson, and craft. We also have areas for creative play that encourages toddlers to form early friendships.

Older Age Groups

Interactive Environment For Big Kids
  • 4-5 Year Olds

    4-5 year olds begin meeting upstairs in an age-appropriate environment where they continue learning that Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Kids play fun games and crafts that serve to reinforce the Bible truth for the month.

  • 6-8 Year Olds

    After participating in worship in the main auditorium, 6-8 year olds meet their teachers upstairs for a fun time learning about Jesus. In this class, kids build on their foundational knowledge of God’s love and begin to explore making wise choices, trusting God, and treating others like Jesus teaches.

  • 9-12 Year olds

    After participating in worship in the main auditorium, 9-12 year olds meet their teachers upstairs for an interactive lesson centered on Biblical truths. This class is geared towards allowing kids a safe place to ask questions and truly explore how to walk out their faith in the real world. Fun games are a way for the kids to laugh together, reinforce a lesson point, and get to know more about one another.
